when i use components in MO system should not generate reservation or PR

Hi Guys,

I have one scenerio where services are done by the external person.And also materail also replaced by external services.

Only ishould have the history in the MO what components are used.System should not generate PR or Reservation for the materail.Is there any setting where i can control this scenerio.

Hi,

The indicator is in detail screen of the components in the order.

Restricting the reservations to be created by Res. / PurchReq. column could be a better option though. In customization for maintenance orders you can specify the default value per order type. The customization step is under Functions and Settings for Order Types -> Define Change Docs... etc. Here you can specify for order types whether reservations are to be created for components.

Once you define components, you have the option as Never under Res. / PurchReq.* column. Select that in Maintenance order, so that order won't create any reservation or PR for the components.

I have entered components,Quantity,Item category,and also i selected option as Never under Res. / PurchReq.Even though i can see the reservation number for that material.

Is there any other settings we need to maintain.

You can see the reservation number, but GI can't be done for that reservation.

Hi,

You can check the final delivery indicator when adding components to the order. These reservations will not taken into account by MRP.
