Depreciation Calculation

Hello All

I have Purchased Asset on 07.11.2011 but System Calculate Depreciation from 30.11.2011. Asset Value Date is also 30.11.2011

I want that system calculates the depreciation from 07.11.2011. Please suggest.

Use T.Code: AFAMS

Validity start select From Capitalization Date

and select Validity start From Capitalization Date for multilevel method

Please change asset value date under general tab from 7.11.2011

Please selct in depreciatin key select depreciation to the date

Hi I do not want enter it manually. System should post it automatically. & Dep to date is already active

Hi,

Starting date for depereciation is determined by period control method as assigned to the dep key in AFAMA. Period control settings can be found in AFAMP and OVAH. Please check them.

Agree with you but with the same setting anather system gave us correct result.

But i have found that there incorrect result in my existing system

I have read before some extensions need to be active for calculating depreciation as per new logic. but sure

Hi,

If you want to achieve this functionality then you will have to activate 'dep to date' in AFAMA. You better create a new dep key with this parameter and assign this to asset in AS02..
