Hi,

When I am doing manual reservation through MB21, system is allowing me to reserve the material even if it is not in stock. Came to know that its standard function.

Tell me how to restrict? i.e if material is not available in stock then system should not allow me reserve.

That's the whole purpose of reservation. Because it would be used by MRP to generate requisitions/planned orders.

Anyway you may follow this link and make settings based on your particular need .
