Running a silent installation

Hello,

I am reading the following document:

In there, in section "1.3.2 Running a silent installation", the following is stated:

When you perform a silent installation on a 64-bit (x64) operating system, the SAP Crystal Reports

64-bit runtime will not be installed automatically. The CRRuntime_64bit_13_0.msi package must

be installed separately.

Perhaps I am reading this wrong but this appears to me as if silent installs are not possible on 64-Bit machines. Am I just mistaken?

If silent installs are not possible on 64-Bit machines can you tell me the reason for this?
