MDM Adapter upgrade issue in SAP PI 7.0

Hi All,

Recently we upgraded the MDM adapter from SP5 to SP7. After the upgrade all the communication channels are throwing the following error.

u201CMDM Adapter listener could not start due to: Can not create repository session '<server=<server details> serverUser=Admin repository=<repository name>user=<user id>>' caused by: Path to object does not exist at MDM Factory, the whole lookup name is deployedAdapters/MDM Factory/shareable/MDM Factoryu201D

We have also gone through the below link and BASIS confirmed that they have followed the steps correctly.

MDM Adapter listener could not start

Does anyone faced this kind of issue before? If so, could you please share with me the steps you followed to resolve the issue?

We are using SAP PI 7.0 EHP1 and

SAP MDM 7.1 SP 7

Thanks in advance..

Regards,

Manish Antony

Thanks Eoin. Now the issue is resolved.

      Solution:

The following components are installed on SAP NetWeaver Application Server Java

      Prior to MDM 7.1 SP07

      MDM JAVA API (MDM_JAVA_API.sca)

      As of MDM 7.1 SP07

      ■ MDM JAVA API (MDM_JAVA_API.sca)

      ■ MDMCONNECTOR (MDM_CONNECTOR.sca)

So we installed the MDM connector and the issue got resolved.

      Regards,

      Manish Antony
