Unable to view saved queries in Favourites

Hi Experts,

We have few users using Bex. They can successfully save queries in Favourites, however when they are trying to open the queries saved in Favourites, they are unable to see anything. That is they are unable to view their saved queries under Favourites.

From Backend perspective they have SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW. Please suggest what might be the issue here?

Thanks

Deb

    Hi,

have you looked for OSS notes? For example note 1031850 might be relevant for you but it depends on versions of your system.

    Cheers

Another increasingly common reason is SAP gateway restrictions being applied.

There is a tool for automatically creating the gateway control files (secinfo and reginfo) within transaction SMGW, but these do not include the BEXANALYZER* program IDs which the workbooks need to register at the gateway.

Check you developer trace (ST11) or the gateway logging (in SMGW) to see whether the registration of a BEX* program ID was denied by the gateway.

If you make extensive use of the Bex Analyzer from the PC network, then follow SAP note 1474615.

    Cheers,

    Julius

      Hi Julius,

There is no difference in entries for SSM_CUST between Dev and QAS. Here are the entries maintained.

      ALL_USER_MENUS_OFF

      CONDENSE_MENU YES

      CUSTOMER_MENU_OFF

      IAC_SERVER_ADDRESS

      INTERNET_MENU_OFF

      NEW_WINDOW_MODE NO

      SAP_MENU_OFF

      SSM_MENU_SORT_ACTIVE YES

      USE_TREE_CONTROL
