Different hostname in transaction SM51 a problem?

Hello,

Verifying information for an upgrade, I realized machine name or hostname for the production system is different than server name.

In profile parameters, all the profile's file names are pointing to and named as the virtual system.

Both the physical hostname and the server name the SAP system is using are pointed to the same ip address. This is a central system installed on Solaris.

Could this situation cause any problems with the upgrade?
