How to retreive the months data automatically based on month input?

Hi All

I have a report with JAN-DEC columns display..

Is it possible to run the report automatically based on the input of month.?

Say when user enter 10.2011,

The report displays all the way from JAN -OCt 2011..

do you think it is possible?

I have my Fiscal year changes from Cal year to APR-MAR..

1.But as of now we have report from JAN-DEC 2011, and for 2011, but we need to display Jan 2011-Mar 2012

2. Then from Apr 2012 onwards, my report must display only APR 2012- Mar 2013 ..data only...

Can you say how to change the CALENDAR YEAR settings and where the configuration for fiscal year is done or

can we retrieve through CUSTOMER EXIT based on month input..??

Can we try with Offset values?

Experts suggestions are highly appreciated at the earliest

Hi,

You can create customer EXIT with logic to read input value and generate Jan to till month dynamically (range variable).

You can do it as follows,

1) Use Fiscal Year Period in your report for all the column restriction and then you can put restriction on Fiscal Year variant and use offset. The values for the month will be set as per the setting for fiscal year variant. But in this case your transaction data needs to have fiscal year variant populated.

2) Use calmonth and then restrict it using offset.

The problem in my Logistics ..there is not FISCAL YEAR or FISCAL PERIOD..

what I am suppose to do now? Does SAP standard extractor of MM, SD has FISCAL YEAR and PERIOD ??

Pls provide some suggestions..

Waiting for experts idea..still no feasible ideas..

Can FISCAL YEAR/Periods changes linked to 0PCALMON field?
