File download UI element?

Hello

I my WDA i have a file upload and file download UI elements, actually, my requirement is ditto to the below link

And i did the same as shown in the wiki.

Bt, file download is not working, its as below

1) MS-Word with DOC extension - am getting junk values = same for Excel XLS extension

2) MS-Word2010 with DOCX extension - some thing else (when we try to download a file from internet, system will display a dialog for inputting the proposed file name intended for save on our machine, same dialog box/manager) am getting = same for Excel2010 XLSX extension

For the rest doc types (TXT, JPG, PDF) its working fine

Pls. let me know How can i fix it?

What version of Office you have in your PC ?

We (all over company/multi national) have the word of as below,

  
MicroSoft Office Professional Plus 2010
Version: 14.0.6108.5000(32 bit)
Extnsion is DOCX

Generally we will face problems with excel format. Upload ui element cannot convert excel data properly, will get junk data. But am able to work with word files without any problems.

Not sure whats happening in my case!

For 2003 MS versions am getting junk and for new 2010 MS versions am getting opening of a new dialog, wher in all showing XML files!!

Any thoughts? How can we fix it?

You can use AcfUpDownload and Acfexecute UI elements to acheive multiple files of Upload and Download .
