Xerox Printer - Performance issues

Hi Gurus

Hope someone out there can help out on a performance issue we have when generating large printjobs.

We resently made a vendor change from HP to Xerox.

Since that we have seen extended runtimes when generating large print from Finance like TC F.27

By extended runtime i mean going from 5 mins to several hours when generating the same spooljob.

There is no doubt that it has something to do with the Xerox Devicetype provided by SAP, but i would like to know if there are others out there with simular issues and if any of you guys have a solution or workaround for this.

Let me add up front that going back to HP is not an option

Hi,

We had similar issue with one of out Lexmark printer. There the issue was caused due to old firmware of the printer. I hope this helps.
