How to get previous years Asset Details in SAP?

Dear Experts,

We are into year 2011 and already closed AA Fiscal year 2010. Now we want to see Asset Details of previous years (eg; 2008, 2009).

What is the way in SAP to get such previous year Asset details? And also what is the T-Code for the same?

Hi

You can view the Asset balance through S_ALR_87011963 report by putting report date as previous years date or you can view the individual balance through Asset Explorer AW01N by mentioning previous years

here you can get APC values and depreciation, in various forms and summarized level.

Use S_ALR_87011963 - Asset Balances -> Balance Lists -> Asset Balances -> ... by Asset Number with report date of previous year..

Please can you tell if it is possible to see asset details in asset register for the mid period of closed fiscal year? If yes what is the T-code?

Also is it possible to see asset details for previous fiscal years which are closed in Asset Accounting?

Hi:

No it is not possible to derive asset report for mid period or at month end other than the month end date of your closed or open fiscal year... Asset accounting reports are for a year end not for single month..System does so in order to avoid inconsistent data reporting in AA. If you press F1 on report date field you will get to know the reason.

One more question... What is difference between Asset Balance Report, Asset History Sheet and Asset Register?

Is there any particular T-Code for Asset Register (Not Asset Balances and Asset History Sheet).
