PO Box Issue in vendor master

Hi All,

At the time of creating the vendor group i have selected po box as required entry at the time of vendor master creation. But my client don't want to enter the po box for the country Srilank under the same account group. Also po box should be required field for other countries.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Please note that account group is created at client level not for a co code. However this field can be done using OB23 for vendor creation...

Hi:

In OB23 the field PO box can be set to display in creation mode or change mode bit doing so for a specific country in not possible. Mat be you have to use user exit for it SAPMF02K or VENDOR_FIELDSTATUS.

Hi,

Go to T-Code: OBD3 and select your account group of vendor and double click on it and double click on General data and in select group, you find Address(double click this) which transfers to next screen, there PO Box row select the radio button Surpress and Save...

This works to ur requirement.

you can mainatin this Define account groups with sreen layout for vendors.

here you can select your group double click on General data tab under address you can fide post box you can put suprees

if you want same Vendor group - you can go Define sreen layput per company code here you can maintain your company code wise.

Hi,

For the countries for which po box field is not required for that company create separate account group T.CODE OBD3 suppressing po box field . For other countries create separate account group T.CODE OBD3 and make po box field mandatory .
