VL10D question; OD qty > STO qty

Hello Gurus,

Good day!

Here is my scenario:

1. From an STO, i create an OD using VL10D.

2. item qty. for STO is for example 10

3. OD qty created is 20, i did this deliberately to check if there will be an error if OD qty > STO qty.

4. no error occurred

Can you help me find out why this is allowed by the system?
