BPC 7.5 NW SP09 - PLAN records were substracted by APO requests

Hi experts,

We are facing a problem with our SALES App in productive environment, apparently some APO requests are writing all the PLAN records with the exact same values but oposite signs so all the records are zero now. We have been checking BPC audit data logs and BW requests but we could not found any suspicious activity. We are trying to restore the data now but we really need to know why are those requests been generated and there for why are we losing the records. Any hint?

Would really appreciate your help.

Hi,

Is this cube only used for BPC? Or do you have any transfer rules or DTPs assigned to this cube? This will help us in understanding the source of data. If there are no transfer rules, then the source of data is BPC. In that case, you might want to revisit your scripts, and check whether any script is posting negative figures.

The best way would be to close all the requests in the cube. Then try to post some records from input schedule. Then check whether these records are negated or not.

Did you performed light optimize? As I remember, BPC generates such records after compression of cube, if quality status of some requests is yellow (not set to green automatically to green).

So, as nilanjan wrote

If problem solved after setting all requestes to green - check if Manage-Environment-Automatic Request processing-Set Quality status to OK checked in cube (note 1632608).

Hi Experts,

We are experiencing the similar kind of issues with our Sales Application. This application is not working after upgrade from 7.0 to 7.5 SP10. Please note that this cube is only used for BPC. When we perform lite optimize that says Error and we don't have any log except it says - Error.

We have gone through the note #1632608 everything is working fine. Please throw some light on this issue.
