Hi,

In our client new business requirement we have two same company in two different countries. They have two comapny codes and two controlling area under same company. Can we use same operating concern in two different comapny codes and different controlling area for two different countries ? Our comapny is same. Two countries Chart of Account and Currency also different. In this case shall we use single operating concern for each country or we can use single operating concern for two different countries.

Hi

You can assign More than one company codes and controlling areas to the operating concern. But the following points should match. than only you can assign.

The chart of accounts for both the company codes and controlling area should be the same.

Fiscal year of the company codes should be the same however special periods can be different.

Currency of the controlling area should match atleast one of the company codes.

If this answer Helps you please allot points to me.

Cheers

Hi Raman,

In our case same company whose one part is Spain and another part is Morocco. In spain there is one company code, one controlling area. In Morocco there is another company code and another controlling area. In spain chart of account is spanish chart of accounts and morocco there is another chart of account. Spain currency is Euro and Moroccor currency is Moroccan Dirham. But fiscal year is same as 1st April to 31st March. So fiscal variant is same in both the country.

As per your suggestion untill and unless two points are satisfies altogether it will not allow for single operating concern in two different countries or I should go two separate operating concern for both the country ?

Samrat

Ideally you should have single operating concern. Please search the forum before posting.
