Append KOMKBV6

Hi

We want to add a new field, to be used for determining when a print condition should be triggered on a Handling Unit. We have until now done the following.

1. We have appended structure KOMKBV6 with the new field.

2. We have activated enhancement VCOM0001 in order to update the filed in KOMKBV6.

3. In customising we have added the new field to the field catalog for condition tables for Handling units.

BUT when we try to create a new condition table, the new field is appearing in V/94, and therefore we are unable to create a new condition table with the new field.

Can anyone give a hint to what we have missed in order to get this to work?

Regards

Bent.

Check the table in SE11 or SE16 and see if the field is really present.

if yes, then it was probably present already before your change.

Any problem why you cant use this condition table? if the field is already there, then it has all what you wanted.

I have already checked in SE11 and the field is there.

I also checked SE16 table T681f (application V6 and field group 001) and i can see the field in the table (the field catalog).

BUT when i then goto V/94 in order to create a new condition table containing the field, i am not able to select the field (it does not appear in the list of fields you can choose from).

okay, initially you said the field is appearing in V/94, so you meant it is not appearing.

Have look into this docu: http://saptechsolutions.com/pdf/EnhancingOutputDetermination.pdf

and check if you did it this way.

Hi

Super thanks. We missed to append KOMB as well. This then made the new field available for creating new condition records.

You have to add the new fields to both structures KOMB (KOMBZ) and KOMKBV6 (KOMKB6Z).
