ESS/MSS - Portal

Hello everyone,

Is it mandatory to have SAP Enterprise Portal for ESS/MSS? Can you use other non-sap portals?

yes it is not mandatory,

Many customers i have seen use Shared point and others instead of SAP portal

Also from EHP5, You can use NWBC instead of Portal

Hey Siddarth,

Thanks. Is there anything that one cannot do in NWBC that you can do in the Portal?.

Is NWBC part of the NetWeaver or is it a separate licence?
