Do we need to recreate Security and Authorizations after BI 4.0 upgrade from BO 3.1? or will the Upgrade Management Tool import the roles into BI4.0 during upgrade process from BO 3.1 to BI 4.0?
Rather than posting BOE queries to the Other SAP BusinessObjects Products and Solutions, please post them here. Just an FYI as you are more likely to get an answer here than the "Other SAP..." forum.
Security and Authorization does get migrated to V4.0, and most of rights gets correctly migrated. Since in V4.0 some new rights are added and modified, few of rights won't correctly migrated.
