issue with 553 movt type

Hi,

There is a requirement to suppress the Cost Centre field while executing 553 movement type.

This field is suppressed for material movement transaction as per MM setting and optional as per FI setting of GL.

But when 553 movement type happens with QA11 transaction, cost centre field is an input field.

How can I change it to suppress?Is it possible

553 mvt is consumption against the Cost center & G/L account .So suppressing it will not be possible.

When you post scrap through QA11 transaction then it is accounted to 553 movement. When u post any material to scrap , then that cost is debited to that cost center and that quantity in consumed. You can not scrap material without cost center.

Avoid error at QA11, go to SPRO --> QM --> Basi setting > Insp lot completion > cost center scrap and assign cost center here. Discuss with FICO person to get correct cost center to consume stock from QI.

Check with CO consulatnt in your company if he has any option, but not from QM side.
