SAP Service Connector Error

Hi guys,

Im trying to establish a connection from SAP to our Dev Backend System, and it seems SAP is getting an error Partner not reached.

I have setup the connections following the standards but when i click on Start Service Connector on my Browser, i got the following error.

Connect to SAP Gateway failed.

SAP_CMINIT3:rc=20> Connect to SAP gateway failed

Connect_PM DEST=001 GWHOST=/H/186.124.221.210/S/sapdp99/host /h/194.117.106.,1.29 gwserv=sapgw01

Location SAProuter 36.15 on <saprouter server>

Error <saprouter server>

RFC destination is working and Im able to ping the backend system from the Saprouter server.

The certicate was renewed without problems

The Saproutab is detailed as follow

1. SNC-connection from and to SAP

KT "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 194.39.131.34 *

1. SNC-connection from SAP to local R/3-System for Support

KP "p:CN=router2, OU=0000692038, O=SAP, C=DE" 192.168.0.1 3299

KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 192.168.0.246 *

KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 192.168.0.250 *

KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 192.168.0.253 *

KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 186.124.221.210 *

Those 192.168.0.x IPs are the Backend Servers

The SapRouter String on the SAP Marketplace is defined as

/H/186.124.221.210/S/3299

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi Martin,

This is because of the incorrect settings you have maintained the saprouttab file in the system.

You have two systems involved in the router.

1. System which has public IP placed outside your companies firewall

2. System which has local IP placed inside your companies firewall.

Even in your RFC connection you would have maintained something similar to this

/H/<LocalIPSystem>/S/sapdp99/H/<PublicIPSystem/S/sapdp99//H/oss001

Ensure you maintain parameter P PUBLICIP (system you want to connect) portnumber for respective connection.

For example

P 11.11.11.11 10.11.01.11 3200 for GUI connection.

If RFC connection is working, then connection from SAP to your system should also work fine.

If still facing issues, ask with SAP where exactly you are facing, they can share the logs they get while connecting and you can fix it.

Hello Martin!

Are you still having problems with the remote connection?

You could take a look at SAP note [31515|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/31515]. It refers the connection setup guide at the Service Connector section.
