How to drilldown/Filter based on Measures from Barchart to the crosstab

Hello,

There's a client requirement that we need to drill down from chart to Cross tab based on keyfigures.

Ex: In the Bar chart we have three keyfigures. sales = 400, Netsales = 500 discounted sales = 200 - with three bars.

when I click on the bar sales = 400 , than the cross tab should show the values related to that.

Is this possible? Please let me know your inputs?

Thanks,

Poornima.

      Hi Tammy,

      Thank you. I checked this link in the you tube and its about the dimension filter and not the measures filter. I need to drilldown on the measures in the chart which in turn needs to be reflected in the chart.

      thanks,

      Poornima.

    Hi,

    Try check this below code, Kindly add it in "onSelect event" on the Chart.

    DS_1.getData(Measure, Selection) ;

    Measure: Measure Object Code

    Selection: Selected data from chart

    Then assign this Datasource(DS_1) to your Crosstab.

    CROSSTAB.setDataSource(DS_1);

    Please check and let me know.

    Regards,

    Hi Poornima,

    You can use below code to filter datasource in crosstab.

    DS_CROSSTAB.SetFilter(INFOCHART_1.getSelectedMember(DS_CHART.getMeasuresDimension()).internalKey);

    Thanks,

    hello Poovarasan,

    I tried your code but it doesnot work.

    DS_2.setFilter(INFOCHART_1.getSelectedMember(DS_4.getMeasuresDimension);

    Error: The number of arguments in the method filter does not match the signature.

    Thanks,

    Poornima.

    Hi Vidhya,

    I tried working with the code which you gave.

    But the selection part I am not sure what to give. as the keyfigure values will be dynamic and not constant.

    Can you please give me an example?

    Thanks,

    Poornima.
