execstatus in MXIV_SENTRIES and MXI_VALUES

Hi Team,

I've spent some time looking for the link between the text displayed in the MXREF_MX_ROLE screen on our Display Person UI screen and the EXECSTATUS value in MXIV_SENTRIES. We have a range of statuses showing against Roles assigned to users and in various stages of provisioning: 'Partially OK', 'OK', 'Rejected', 'Failed', 'Unknown' or 'Pending' status.

Looking at the MXIV_SENTRIES view definition, the EXECSTATUS field originates from MXI_VALUES, yet in that table too the descriptive text is not stored and the field is not a foreign key... so I have hit a dead end. I didn't have much luck on Google either 😉

Does anyone know where the text values are stored?

Thanks very much,

Andy

    Hi,

it might not be stored in DB. It might be hard coded in web dynpro application. I don't have access to any IdM system at this moment but I quickly searched all SQL installation scripts for those words and I couldn't find any table. I assume that if it's in DB that it has to be imported during DB creation. There is table MXP_PROVSTATUS with statuses for provisioning but it does seem to match with role assignment statuses.

    Cheers

    • Hi,

the installation DB scripts are plain text files with SQL commands. So for example in file 9-language-data.sql you have all texts in all languages used in IdM. Hence just searching in *.sql files for your string is sufficient.

      Cheers
