NWDI installation requirement

Hi,

Installation of the NWDI on ECC6.0 abap+ java stack requires EP as mandatory componet?

What are the essential SAPBUILDT, JEE, JTECH versions needed to be downloades?

Hi Srikanth,

1.You can deploy the NWDI componet (CMS, CBS and DTR) in the server. Download the DI_CMS, DI_CBS and DI_DTR sca files from service market place with same version and patch level as server. then deploy the sca file using SDM or JSPM.

Then do the initail configuration in http://<host>:<port>/nwa

Once initial configuration done, access the NWDI administration usign http://<host>:<port>/devinf

2. AS Java is a prerequisite to installing NWDI or any other usage type that is based on Java stack.

You should also refer to the AS Java installation guide for more information on this and the post-installation steps to be executed for DI usage type. There will be a section called "Installation of Additional Software Units or Usage Types in an Existing SAP System". This section will tell you the exact procedure and the packages that you need to download for the concerned usagy types. Download till the SP level that is currently on your existing system.

Deploy using JSPM and the opiton to select will be to Install New Usage Type.

Then, you execute DI specific post installation steps as per the same installation guide. This will include running the DI based tasks from Template configuration Wizard.

I have already installed the DI by selecting as an addon in java installation, then i need to deploy DI_CMS, DI_CBS, DI_DTR.

If yes, in market place where can i found these components?

Can you help on this?

if DI usage is selected during installation, that three sca are deployed already, no need to deploy again.

What you mean by FSCM Biller Direct 6.02, is that mean biller direct support package level 02 ? Is that sca file to be deployed?

This is the Biller direct 6.0 release with enhancement pack 2 = 6.02 installtion dump. Followed by this installtion you can deploy the support packs which you will see in the market place.

I have selected BD in my installation, then i have to re install the FSCM BD 6.02.

If yes, where can i found the installation files in market place ?

If no need to install , then there is need to install support packs ?

Yes if you have selected BD during the installation then you dont have to install this again. You just need to apply the support packs (n-1) in the market place.

Hello Srikanth

Biller direct again depends on your ECC 6.0 level. If you have ECC 6.0 with Enhancement pack(1,2,3,4 or 5) then you need to for the corresponding biller direct component. In your case I think it's Netweaver 7.0 ECC 6.0 so you go for FSCM-BILLER DIRECT 6.0.

This is ECC6.0 with IDES installation, so its containing ECC6.0 incl Ehp3. I am going with FSCM BD 6.0 component. Or shall i go for other FSCM BD version.

the version of those sc is depended on the version of server that you going to deploy your developed SC.
