Hello All,

I have installed and NW CE 7.1 EHP1 with MSSQL 2005 on windows NT 2003.

During the NW installation however i did not install NWDI. Now i am trying to install MII 12.0 (already have the SCA file),but in the documentation i read i need to use JSPM which in turn needs NWDI! What do i do?

Please advise.

Regards,

Prabhjot Singh

Hi,

i did not know what the path for JPSM was. its \usr\sap\<SID>\<Instance>\j2ee\JSPM. Need to run the batch file go.batch.

You have to run the batch file in the following manner.

Switching to <SID>adm user

For Windows OS

With menu options

1. Open Start u00AE Programs u00AEAccessories

2. Click with the secondary mouse button on the Command Prompt icon.

3. From the pop-up menu, choose Run As.

4. Choose <SID>adm user.

5. Start JSPM from the new console. Run the batch file by giving its patch. example Drive:/\usr\sap\<SID>\<Instance>\j2ee\JSPM\go.batch

and the deploment proceeds.

You might want to check the http://service.sap.com/pam - and look at the NW/MII combinations first, since 12.0 requires NW 7.0, not NW 7.1 CE.

I don't see how NWDI is related to using JSPM to deploy the SCA file. With 12.1 it should be a single SCA file to deploy (migration would be the other sca file, but that's only relevant if you're upgrading from 11.5).

What is the documentation point that is confusing?
