Reversal of FI document

Where do we control the Reversal document inherits the filed values of the original document.

Suppose, i don't want to get the reference number(XBLNR) from the original document when iam doing reversal, where should i control this.

I don't think there is any standard setting to achieve this. I think the standard reversal program is designed in such a way as to get the business information from the original document into the reversal document so you have a trail.

I was trying to find any configuration that i can restrict the inheritance for certain fields. I know the Substitution is working but, this will not be good for some batch reversal programs.

Hi:

The characteristics inherited in to BSEG-STBLG document are by system design..You just specify the document type for reversal in OBA7 while creating a document type..E.g DZ document has reversal specified as DA document type in OBA7...
