Changes to Infopackages and DTPs should not ask for a Change Request.

Hello,

I created Process chains in development. I transport those Process chains to Quality and Production. In quality or in Production I need to fine tune (make changes) to the Infopackages and to the DTPs.

I do not want these objects types (Only DTPs and Infopackages) in quality and in production to ask for change request when changed. Of course I want these to be changeable.

Where should I configure this ? Sound this normal to you ?

Hi,

In SCC4 transaction your system setting need to be Automatic Recording of changes, then it will not ask for transport and after that you need to set individual object changability from RSA1 transport connection.

You can check with your basis team for more details.

Yes that should be the normal behaviour, but for that you need to make some changes in the system customizing. Where to do the changes is the question ?

generally when we change the objects like IP and DTP, then system will not ask for transport request.

only in Dev it will ask.
