RRI Funtionality in WebI 4.0

I was wondering if we have any Report Report Interface type of functionality in WebI 4.0 ot any other reporting tool in BO 4.0?

May be you are Expecting hyper link which is similar to RRI......

I'm not sure. Linking the report might just run another report. RRI provides input value to destination report if you click on any value on the source report.

It looks like such a funtionality is not present in BO 4.0.

This can be achieved by using the Hyperlink in WEBI.

http://<servername>:<port>/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?<parameter1>&<parameter2>&...&<parameterN>...

.

When you click on your Object:

Pass the value:

lsS[NAME] Specifies a value for a single prompt. [NAME] is the text of the prompt.

lsM[NAME] Specifies multiple values for a prompt. [NAME] is the text of the prompt.

Eg: lsSMaterialGroup=([MaterialGroup]).

Hi,

You can use openDocumnet functionality in BOBJ 4.0 to achieve your requirement.

Here is the format, have a look...

Can you be more specific as to the steps on how I can achieve this?

I have two reports: Report1 (based on InfoCube which summarized customer data) and Report2 (based on DSO which has details of each customer). I want to jump from report1 to report2 with Customer Number.

Hi,

Firstly, you need to create a prompt for field Customer Number in report2 NOTE! Unselect all 4 ticks (optional, prompt and value list etc.) in Prompt properties.

Second, you need to publish your WEBI reports to CMC and make the linking via your Internet browser.

Third step, you're able to create a "Document link" by right-clicking on top of field Customer Number --> Hyperlink --> Add Document link --> then go and select the report2 published in CMC. You can also add tool tip (e.g. text "Click to see customer details") and decide if the detail report should open in new window.

That should do it!
