Challenge error: Data can not be updated into ODS.

Hi,gurus.

I can not update data from ZODSA to ZODSB by DTP. DTP extraction mode is Full. No any delete code in the start routine.No filter conditions in DTP.

The DTP detail:

Extract. from datastore xxxx : 50000 data records

Filter Out New Records with the Same Key :50000 -> 50000 Data Records

ODSO ZODSA -> ZODSB : 50000 - > 755 Data Records

Update to DataStore Object ZODSB : 755 -> 0 Data Records

Why can't the 755 records be uploaded into ZODSB?

What's wrong?

BTW: In first time,ZODSB can get data from ZODSA,but when I delete the content of ZODSB and run DTP again,ZODSB can not get any data from ZODSA.But we do nothing about ZODSA and ZODSB.

Hi,

There will be following possibilities

1. That data is already available in DSO. Just check that. Check status in PSA what it is showing?

2. Change error handling to ' valid record update,no reporting(request red). There is a possibility the data records are incorrect and you need to correct them and move into target through error DTP may be.

Delete data from contact menu

Right click on your DSO--> Select Delete Data

After deleting Data reload your data.

Hi

In extraction tab of DTP, to load data from ODSA to ODSB which table you have choosen.

make sure you are running full load DTP.

check the job log of DTP, if you goto monitor on top you will find job overview.

In update tab, what option you have selected for error handling.

is it Valid records update, reporting possible(request set to green)

Type of Data Update to Data Targets: Futher processing without master data

BTW: There is not any error infos happened in the process of DTP.

RSODSACTUPDTYPE

RSODSACTREQ

at present do you have any data in ODSB

There is no data in ODSB.

Do you have the request number which you deleted earlier from this OSDB.

IF you have that request( it will be DTPR**), check you have entries for ODSB with this request in below tables

RSICCONT, RSMONICDP, RSODSACTUPDTYPE and RSODSACTREQ

If you have, please delete that entry from tables.

now load the data, it should get load.

One more option would be

delete all the data in DSO( don't go for this if you have other requests in DSO)

Deleting contents means system will delete the entries in the tables which i mentioned above.

now you can reload the data.

ZODSB can still not extract data from ZODSA.

What's the type of dso? Do u see any insert statement geting exuted during the data load in sm50?whats the exact error mesage r u seeing?

It's standard ODS.

No error info existed in DTP process. It just say no more available data(I am sure the data existed in source ods,I've checked it.) in real scenario.

In simulate scenario there is just a warn icon in the first step "Extract. from DataStore ZODSA : 50000 Data Records".

But when you expand it, everything is green.
