Change PR for External order

Dear PM Team,

Create the maint order for control key PM02(external) with Service details and also issue the material with same control key through reservation.my problem is there we have created the PR through ME21N with the reference of order PR.Now user have no requirement of Purchase requisition.therefore we want delete the PR through ME52N then deletion button has gray symbol.

Pls suggest us how can we delete the PR with item details.

I guess, there is only one operation in your order. So its not possible to delete the operation.

Also This is only possible provided that no purchase order have been assigned. If po has been created, you can only Flag for Deletion.

Please provide the details why you don't want that PR. Is it going to be internal operation? Check these links.

Actually it is going to be an internal operation.Deletion flag activate in PO line item Now we want delete the PR but deletion button is GRAY(Disable) symbol.

Pls suggest for same.

You can't delete the PR directly as PR has been created from maintenance order. Change the control key to internal & then try to delete the PR.

You can not change the control key because PR has been generated also.So,system does not allow change the control key for same operation.

If there is no PO assigned to the PR, you can delete the operation in the work order and the PR will be deleted.

Hi,

My SAP is not working ..to confirm but u can try the below steps:-

1. Delete that operation or non stock material line item in IW32 ..

2. I believe the order is released, now TECO the maintenance order ..

3. Now check if the line items in the attached PR have deletion flag, else i believe the deletion button should be open .. if yes then u can try to delete ..

Hi Pushpa,

However we delete the external operation in MO(IW32) system is giving message "The last active operation cannot be deleted" while we have already deleted issued material document(MBST) and component item.

As well as we have also checked PR ,no changes in deletion button(gray).

Kindly suggest us how can we solve the problem.
