Dear guru

We wanan mapp one process as per auditor requirnment, i want ur inputs

infact some time we get Free Samples of material from different vendor, these free samples uses in MAintinance activitites,

we want to account this, asper auditor requirnrment then must be po folloowed by GRN and consumption.

Please suggest is there ant process to MAp Free Sample material recived from vendor

what you want account Qty only or Value and Qty?

If you want Qty only then create non-valuated material type for same

If you want and and value also then create new material type for sample

while creating Po if you use account assignment categories K it will show direct consumption

check setting of K in OME9 in your system

if the free samples are for materials you also buy, for the free samples, you can check mark the free goods indicator. When free goods indicator is checkmarked, the conditions tab vanish and wont be able to put any conditions value

Hi,

Use material type UNBW (nonn valuated material)to receive this type of free sample. For this material stock will get updated and not value. Create material master for this material type and do MIGO and give cost center as K (for consumption. Thanking you.
