Hi All,
My Customer needs AMC to be configured. But right now they don't have any standard process. So what will be the best process? Also let me know the steps for configuring this process?

Client needs AMC for the following scenarios
i) Includes only Machine services.
ii) Includes Machine services and spares.

As I understand that you need following two types of Maintanance contracts
1, Comprehencive (with spares)
2, Non-comprehencive (without spares).
You have to create two type on Service contract documents refering to "WV/SC" doc. type.
Maintaian all condition types and condition records for the services and spares refering to the following link:

After configuring all , also set up resource related billing (DP90) for the contracts, if needed.
please explore by refering to the above link.
It must be of defenite use.

Can you please let me know the steps to configure the AMC process for the below scenarios.

I am new to CS process so request you to help me. Also let me know the in which parts PM integration is required for AMC process.

I am working on AMC process. Please confirm me whether the process mentioned below is correct or not? Also let me know if there are any changes required.
Service contract will be created as per the requirement.
As per the service contract the Service task list will be created
Service task list will be assigned to the Service Maintenance plan with Duration
As per the Duration the Service Maintenance plan will release the Service order
Process the Service order as per the Task list operation
Capture the required data related to Service Charges, Spare parts used, Travelling Expenditure & Other Charges
Confirm the Service order.
Create a Billing Request.
Create a Billing document
Settling & Complete the Service Order.
Display the Planned /Actual Cost of Service Order.

Let me know the scenario which is client is currently following. Actually there are two scenario which is generally followed.
1. Service contract is made for fixed value for year & customer is going to provide standard services against it. (Three preventive maintenance + 1 Emergancy service call in case of breakdown). During this contract total amount of service contract is paid to service provider & as he provides the service it is settled against paid amount.
2. Second scenario : Rate contract is prepared for year for particular service for particular Eqpt. which is user as & when required for conducting visit of service provider & billing to service provider is according to service contract is made.
Which is you people is going to use?

Thanks a lot for your reply. Right now they are not having any standard AMC process. My client is a machine tool industry and as per my knowledge the second option will suit them better.
Because my client is saying that they will visit customer when ever there is an problem and will rectify the same. He will bill accordingly both service charges and spares.
So let the steps for this process.
