use of Text variable in Crystal report 2008 created in BEx

is it possible to use Text variable in Crystal report 2008 created in BEx query.

If yes please let me know how to use it.

Hi Vaibhav,

I'm not sure how a Replacement Path text var is created in BW. And, when these variables become parameters in Crystal Reports, so make sure you have the Ready for input selected too.

Hi Vaibhav,

Not all 'Processing Types' are are supported for Text variables in CR 2008.

The only one that is supported is 'Replacement Path'.
