Discrepancy in datasource and r/3 fields value

Hi Experts ,

In one BI reports datasource fields value is not matching with R/3 data . How to see data mapping of datasource with

R/3 . What can be the reason of difference in values ? Please help .

the datasource not necessarly reflects directly the value of the field in R/3 . maybe the value is aggregated or different for granularity .

if you know the data mapping in transformation or inforsource you can go in the R/3 table to confront the value r/3 versus BW

on the basis of the same granularity.
