Stock display of purchased Configurable material

Hi Gurus,

I have done all the steps up to PO and received the material using MIGO for configurable material as suggested in help.sap

Is it possible to see what specification I have received for that material in Stock display (MMBE )or stock report

Hi,

You can see the class maintained in variant configuration through MMBE. Please right click on the stock figure and select display batch classification. you can see the characteristic values over here. Thanking you.

At the Time of Migo

when I am clicking on the classification tab

For batch 0000000052 of material ENVOLOPE , no class could be determined.

Hi,

In PO creation we won't give batch number manually. During MIGO the system will create batch automatically. Are you getting batch tab during MIGO? Please maintain characteristic values in this tab. These valuse can be seen in MMBE for that particular batch. You can give characteristic values in material master which are generally applicable to that material master. The material with particular characteristic value can be known in MIGO only. Because by receiving material physically can be known the correct characteristic value. Please see to get batch tab in MIGO. To acheive this batch management should be activated in MM01. Give class and characteristic values in classification view. Thanking you.

hi ,

After creating the Configuration Profile (as per doc ) I used the material in PO where I maintained the values in item details material data in configuration button

I maintained char. values as

size_of_envelope DIN C4

window_in_envelope Yes

At the PO I have not maintained any Batch No.

While GR system creates a batch 000000042 automatically

now in MMBE when I click on batch classification ( on the batch stock value ) nothing is showing.

Q2. can we maintain the configuration value in advance so that we can choose in PO if so, how can we create that
