Hi,

I can't view the "Proportional factor" in the right hand sdie. It is a "Macro" not a key figure.I need to add a macro to the palnning book.

Ajay,

Well, this is contrary to your original assertion.

Macros are created in a Macro book. /SAPAPO/ADVM. There is a substantial difference between a Macro and a Key Figure.

I think you will agree that Demand Planning is not an area where you have a lot of experience. I suggest that you consult with your local DP team lead for further answers to these questions. If such an expert is not available, then I further suggest that you hire an external consultant to assist you. Alternatively, you might wish to consider taking a basic class in Demand Planning. I am beginning to doubt that we in this forum will be able to help you reach a satisfactory solution in this matter.

I have nothing further to say in this matter.

Hello,

After checking "Manual Proportion Maintenance", you'll first need to drag the "proportional factor" from right panel to left panel in the "Key Figures" tab for the planning book, which is the second tab on the planning book maintenance screen. Then you drag the key figure in "Key Figures" tab for the data views, which is the 6th tab on the maintenance screen.

Ajay,

I do not publish my email address to anyone on these forums.

If the steps I outlined do not make APODPDANT field appear, you either have an inconsistency, or there is some other technical error. I suggest you raise a message with SAP.

Hi DogBoy,

In "X" Planning Book and "Y" Planning book, both the data views are different for the same planning area.. X is having Planner, data view, Y Planning Book is having Management Planning book.

Ajay,

Did you select "Manual Proportion Maintenance" as I earlier instructed?

Select this. Cycle through all tabs. Complete. Now re-open. Go to first KF tab. Is it there?

Hi DogBoy,

You are correct. It is propotional factor only. But i can't see in Left side to drag on to Right side. But i can watch in X Planning Book , not in Y Planning Book. But both the planning books are havinbg same planning area.

Manasa,

Re-read my instructions.

On the first Key figure tab, select Proportional Factor (APODPDANT) and drag it to the left panel if it is not already there.

I didn't say drag from the left panel, I said drag to the left panel. Left side is what you have already in your book. Right side contains the additional fields that are available.

APO,

I will assume you are talking about the KF 'Proportional Factor" (not Proportional FactorS).

/SAPAPO/SDP8B. Select the book in question, Edit. On the "Planning Book" tab, select 'Manual Proportion Maintenance' checkbox if it is not already selected. On the first Key figure tab, select Proportional Factor (APODPDANT) and drag it to the left panel if it is not already there. If you want the Proportional Factor to be displayed in one or more DataViews in the PB, Select the Data View tab, and specify the data view where you want it to be displayed. Then on the second Key Figure tab, drag Proportional Factor over to the left pane. Save.
