Dear All,
I want to hide buttons on toolbar displayed in ABAP Webdynpro -Personal ID detail screen in Personal profile service. I could hide the 'Cancel' button by selecting value 'Is not Visible' against 'Visibility' attribute of Element : 'Cancel'. Same option is selected for 'Save' Button and 'Save and Back' Button. But they are still visible in detailed screen of 'Personal Id' Service. Am I missing some other setting??
Also I want to show 'Display' and 'Edit' Icons subtype wise in 'Communication' service(IT 0105) in overview screen of Personal Profile. But I am able to show the Icon either 'Edit' or 'Display' for all subtypes of this service.
Waiting for reply....
Regards,
Swapnali
Hi Swapnali Kamerkar ,
Edit and delete button will be enabled when data is present in backend SAP system.
Personal Information- Internal Data and Communication u2013 Services are now visible, with Edit / Delete button after maintaining respective infotype-subtypes in Table : V_T7XSSPERSUBTY
With regards

In EhP5 ESS Personal Profile application, in order to change the
Address overview page fields, you need to adapt the Address component
configuration HRESS_CC_PER_OVR_ADDRESS_XX.
Note: In EhP5, ESS screens are based on Floor Plan Manager for
WebDynpro ABAP Generic UI Building Block concept. To configure
overview page fields we no longer use 'Determine Fields for Business
Card on Area Page' View instead of that we adapt the FPM configurations.

Thanx Siddharth,
I could resolve the first part of my question i.e. hiding 'Save' and 'Save and Back' button.
But I am still not able to achieve the ans of second question. In case of communication details, we have different subtypes like Email id, personal mobile no.,Office landline etc. For some of the subtypes, employee should have an edit option while for some other subtypes employee should have view only option. When we maintain/save the data for any subtype, on overview page we get edit icon beside each subtype for which details are maintained. In FPM based configuration I changed the description of this icon as 'Display' and against image source maintained value as ~Icon/Display. On overview page I can see Display Icon instead of Edit but then this is getting applied to all subtypes. How to make this option available subtypewise as I mentioned above?
Waiting for your reply....
regards,
Swapnali
