Dear Sapgurus,

cost estimate for list of material marked and released for the current months in CK40N, but by mistake price has taken as Per KG instead of Per Ton, now how to correct this mistake and do the costing run again with the same costing variant for the same month, system not allowing this to do it again. Please Sap Gurus anyone any idea help me.

thanks

Hi

How can that be a mistake?? If your BOM is maintained per TON and UoM is maintained as KG in Mat Master, system always woould calculate pro-rata cost estimate, because conversion between KG to TON is a part of the standard system

However, if your BOM itself was maintained for KG by mistake but the input qty were for TON or vice versa - Then you need to reverse Cost estimate from CKR1 and re-release it after making master data correction

Dear Ajay Sir,

Many many thanks for the reply. In the Costing lot size field in Costing tab it was 1, which should be TON or 1000 KG, so system is taking 1 as KG henceforth the price per KG is showing very high.

Now my request is this happened for atleast 20 materials, mistake may happen but how to resolve this. Is it possible first to do the CKR1 first then realese afterwords again do the CK40N. please advice me.

Hi

Choose current cost estimate button in CKR1, remove test run and execute

Then do material master changes and re-run cost estimate...... If you have posted transactions in it, then create a new material

Hi das,

Please check the OSS notes. Don't remember the number, but certainly this is covered.
