An error has occurred:An error occured while trying to view the document

We are trying to execute a linked report and keep getting this error. The first report with the link renders ok but the linked report does not. We just get an "An error has occurred:An error occured while trying to view the document" error.

We are a .NET environment using BOXI 3.1 and we are using the opendoc function.

How should IIS be configured correctly to use opendoc?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Have you installed at any service pack or fix pack on your BOE 3.1 machine?

Mention the opendoc link you are using to open the linked report.

Also, have a look at SAP Note 1538338 which mentions it to be a defect in SP2 version.
