Variable Problem

Hi !

Iu2019ve recently migrated from BW version 3.5 to version 7.

Iu2019ve got a problem with a query. In version 3.5, everything was OK but now that Iu2019m under version 7, i am facing error when I try to run the query .I checked the error message in RSRT and Got the following details.

The error message is:

Diagnosis

Variable ZPERSON has the processing type "Manual Input/Default Value". However, it is not input ready, and no default value has been specified.

Is there a way to correct this error ?

Hi,

I think you need to change the varaible from Manual Input/Default Value to selection option.

If you are going to keep the variable as default value you need to keep some fix value there which may not be required as per your design.

My Patch Level is SAPKW70208 which is higher than the one mentioned in the note (SAPKW70028).

otherwise you can apply the note via snote because this is applicable to "SAPKW70205 - SAPKW70209".

try recreating the variable

try to remove and add the same variable....

if everything fails....
