Hi Guys
A quick questions regarding time sheeting please.
One of our requirements is to see whether or not it is possible to assign a person to a task/project and record actual time spent on a daily basis vs planned. There is no requirement to calculate actual internal resource costs and no requirement to post to financials, so this is purely from a resource management perspective and all we want to know is how many hours people actually spend on a project/tasks on a daily basis as opposed to what was originally planned. Is this possible?
Thank you
Hi Guys
I am sure this can be done in SAP.
I just need to know the best method in doing it?
Time sheeting in SAP without the need to calculate actual internal resource costs and no requirement to post to financials.
So effectively dummy WBSs or something along those lines?

There should be some documentation available onlline on the subject.
We have created "special attendances" for regular employees (negative time) for when the employee is not at his/her assigned job (such as for Training, Certification Exams, Meetings and Conferences, etc...). Those Attendances do not generate any additional payments nor any special postings to FI/CO, unless Costing elements are assigned to the Attendance.

You may meet this requirement without posting timesheet data to other module for reporting/analysis purpose.
Thanks
