Hi SAP Guru's,

how to keep FI posting period (OB52) closed but keep CO posting periods (OKP1) open.

I.e. on Oct 21th the FI posting period 10 should be open but FI posting period 09 should be closed. But on Oct 21th the CO posting period 09 should be open.

Thanks in Advance.

RV

Hi,

By keeping the Period 9 closed in FI also you can do transactions within CO untill the said Transactions in OKP1 is not locked.for the said period. But by doing so the WIP and Variances of the period 9 will not be settled to FI.

Thanks & Regards,

Ravi

What's the error? CO-FI real time integration activeted? If yes, then system tries to post FI doc

Hi,as I said, it means that CO-FI integration activeted, so when you post from one PC to another in CO system tries to post FI document in this period. So you can't post such transaction without opening FI period

Hi, this transaction has no reference. So you can do what you want, but ofcause, if FI period closed, then you only could post directly in CO
