differnce of - MC.6,MC.A and mb51

Hi all,

When I am running following reports they are giving different values for same material.

Can anyone explain me what is the purpose of these reports each?

1. MC.6

2. MC.A

3. MB51

Hi,

MC.1 and MC.6 are static, where as in MB51 the value is usually calculated and added during a goods receipt based on values entered in documents such as a PO and a invoice. MB51 includes special stocks also. Thanking you.

Hi,

MC.A is for material wise stock value analysis In a particular plant or storage location.

MC.6 is storage location wise stock value analysis in a particular plant

MB51 gives material document list for GR/GI . Thanking you.

MC.A Plant level Receipt/Issue Analysis :

which includes stock at plant, stock in Transit (Intra & Inter plant stock trasnfers) & special stock like stock issued to vendor , consigment stock etc which is valuated at plant level.

MC.6 Storage location wise Receipt/Issue Analysis : MC.6 does not consider such special stocks hence there will always difference in both reports.

Customer returns (movement 651) & GR blocked stock (movement 103) will not be part of neither the MC.6 nor MC.A.

MB51 : will give you list of material documents posted (Goods Receipts, Goods Issues, transfer posting etc).

Path : Information Systems - General Report Selection - Materials Management - Inventory Management u2013 Inventory Information Systems - Material

MC.6 Storage location wise Receipt/Issue Analysis : MC.6 will not consider any type of special stocks so there will be variance between both the reports.

MB51 : Mb51 shows all types of material documents for different goods movements.

It depends upon movement types and transaction you did.

If you did migo with 101 movement type then on display this document only.

For different transaction the screen may be different
