Best way to obtain technical field details

I have a cube which will when required be populated by Corporate Memory - write optimized dso.

The transformation to the cube from the w/o dso also includes Z fields as

ZREQUEST, ZDATAPAKID and ZRECORD

What is the best way that I can populate these fields through the transformation

Thanks

Just do in the end routine:

    <result_fields>-zrequest = request.

    <result_fields>-zdatapakid = datapakid.

For the zrecord, you may need to use a counter with ABAP.

    Hi Deodhar,

why do you want to populate these fields in cube? kindly tell.

There is no need to have these fields in cube. 0REQID should be enough to check data.

    Hi Deodhar,

This fields are populated automatically by SAP and request ID's are generated at run time. ReqID in DSO is not similar to that in Infocube.

    Durgesh.

    Hi,

These technical keys are available in write optimised DSO so we can write data any number of times and it can be distinguished.

In Infocube those key not required. You got request ID based on which data can be clearly distinct and can be differentiated.

    Thanks and regards

If I place the logic below in the end routine I get a short dump

      <RESULT_FIELDS>-/BIC/ZREQUID = request.

whereas in the field routine the logic below gives the correct value

      RESULT = request.

Can anyone advise who I can get this to work in the end routine

      Thanks
