popup while raising Error in search help exit if filter field is initial

Hi Experts,

I am facing some strange popup after showing error in search help exit based on some condition.

Please find my sample code below.

IF callcontrol-step = lc_p OR callcontrol-step = lc_p1.

IF gv_taxjcd IS INITIAL.

MESSAGE e090(zfi_msgcls). "Please enter Tax jurisdiction first

ENDIF.

i want to restrict search help to display if gv_taxjcd is initial. after showing the error 90, system give some strange popup. I am not sure of the reason and the popup. Pelase help me to remove this popup.
