Remove iview from page

Hi,

One of our users has managed to remove the iview from the Portal Theme page in the Personalize popup window. How could he get the iview back?

I believe I know how I could prevent this from happening in the future, but the solution is too late in this particular case.

We are on NW04 SP11.

1. Enable personalize on the page.

2. Ask him to click on Personalize.

3. New window will popup where he can add and delete iview.

I'm not quite sure which page to edit. I went to

Content Administration > Portal Content > Content Provided by SAP > End User Content > Standard Portal Users > Personalize Portal and there Content Area > Properties. The "Show Personalize Option" is already enabled, but the actual page where the iview was removed from is completely blank.

I also tried Content Administration > Portal Content > Content Provided by SAP > End User Content > Standard Portal Users > Standard User Role > Portal Personalization > Portal Theme but the result is the same.

Any more thoughts?

Open that page in the browser.Click personalise which is on the right top corner near by log off.It will open a window.Select page.Then add iviews.

I'm sorry I may not have been clear enough. The "Portal Theme" iview which was removed from the page is one of the ones in the Personalize Portal popup window. There is no personalize page option there.

Hi Gabor,

here is how you can achieve ...

1. ...that the users who have removed the "Portal Theme"-iView from the Personalize Page get it back

AND

2. ...they can not remove it again during personalization:

Go to: Content Administration > Portal Content > Portal Content > Portal Users > Standard Portal Users > Standard User Role > Portal Personalization > Portal Theme and click on "Edit".

For the "Portal Theme"-iView Select the Box for "Fixed"!
