asset delete

HI experts ,

I try delete asset master record but it is not possible , i am getting an error

Error : ( Not possible to mark for deletion (equipment exists)

Message no. AY119

Diagnosis

It is not possible to mark the asset 3421 sub-number 0 for deletion, because the asset is linked to a piece of equipment.

System Response

The delete flag is not set.

Procedure

First you have to delete the link to the piece of equipment. Then you can set the delete flag.)
