1. Difference between Business Planning and Consolidations, version for SAP NetWeaver and
Business Planning and Consolidations, version for Microsoft
2. Prerequisites server side or client side before install BPC
3. How to installed BPC in my environment ( what is the installation steps).
4. BPC only for windows platform or also in Linux
5. What is required in server side and client side
6. .Net required on server side or client side ( if server side then PBC is only in windows platform)
also we have Media 51034562 which contain BPC_ABAP_70 and BPC_CLNT_70
in BPC_ABAP_70 only one patch K-700AGINCPMBPC.SAR and
BPC_CLNT_70 BPC_ADMIN_CLIENT_70 , BPC_OFFICE_CLIENT_70 , BPC_SERVER_70
what is difference between BPC_SERVER_70 and K-700AGINCPMBPC.SAR and use of BPC_ADMIN_CLIENT_70 , BPC_OFFICE_CLIENT_70
Regards
Hi,
After you install the server component on the server machine, you can go to
http://<server ip address>/osoft
And do the installation directly from the link. You dont need to use the client component. You will have to install both the admin and office client (admin is needed for administrator console, and office client is needed for excel, word, powerpoint console).
Alternatively, you can install the clients from the client component. After the installation, when you run the client, you will need to enter the server's ip address, and thats how the connection is established.
Hope this helps.

Thanks raghu and Deepak for your kind support
As per my understanding
I am apply K-700AGINCPMBPC.SAR as a add-ons in server ( in our case ECC6 + BW client in same server ) and Client tool in client machine where IIS server and .net frame ware exists
How to integrated Client and Server through RFC or else , please guide me
Best Regards

Hi,
4. BPC only for windows platform or also in Linux
=> BPC NW has 2 elements.
a) NW ABAP component which can reside on your BI system ( either unix or windows)
b) .NET component will reside only on windows
6. .Net required on server side or client side ( if server side then BPC is only in windows platform)
==> .Net has server components residing on windows server and client components residing on user desktop.
Hope this helps.

Deepak Kori
