TAXWARE RFC response time alerts in solution manager

Hi All,

As per the configuration for TAXWARE in our production system we have a TCP/IP RFC configured. When we test the connection it works absolutely fine. We have taxware package present on the same application server as R/3.

We have in all 9 App server+1 CI. We have configured RFC alerts in our solution manager via central CCMS monitoring and a threshold defined to check if RFC responds in 23 seconds or not (this alert was actually not configured by our present team by some other team that worked ealier). If the response is more than 25 seconds we get alert message as following in ou solution manager:-

Collector: SAPSPI-160: BORFCCON01 : system: TAXWARE has not answered within 25 seconds status=AL_STAT_ACTIVE severity=10 [Policy: SAP R3 opcmsg]

We are unable to understand how it comes and what solution manager does to ping that this alert is registered. Please note that mostly this alert occurs in night time and no more than once.

Could you help in this regard.
