no extra fields seen in edit mode for Accounts

Hi,

In CRM 7.0 web UI,we have made all the fields as DIRECT from hidden and when now when we create an account as individual and save in the system.But again in the edit mode when we see we only have a view of few tabs for example..the tax classification tab etc.

we assume in sap when we go in to change mode of any transaction, the system settings doesn't change and only the fields are in editable mode.

Hi,

This might be an issue of configuration. In edit mode system might be picking a different configuration.

check the configuration settings once.

Hello there,

I believe in case of Web UI the different configurations loading for different conditions can be checked by debugging at the following place:

View controller class

Method: DO_CONFIG_DETERMINATION.

In this method; we can generally control the explicit loading of different configuration via setting diffrerent combinations of the following fields of configurations:

ROLE KEY

COMPONENT USAGE

OBJECT_TYPE

OBJECT_SUBTYPE

Hi all,

Thanks for the reply.But its not the question of the displaying the different configuration settings.Our question was very simple.

Again to make the issue clear we will explain it.

We have made the configuration tool active for the accounts management screen.And in the settings we have set all the fields to DIRECT.Now when we create a new BP say as Individual and fill in the basic details like name address phone number etc and save.

Now when we open in edit mode we are not able to see the number of i-views which were activated when made as DIRECT.For ex again the tax types for BP would be filled only when the prospect is changed to sold to party business role.

In simple the tax type i-view was visible in create mode and not seen in edit mode.

Hope now our query is clear.

Please provide solution.

Hi,

In web ui while you are in edit mode click on Congiration(Pencil Icon on the Item Screen in Web UI) here you can take assignment block from Left to Right pannel and save it.

Hi Rajini,

Our real issue was how to see the activated ivews which have made as "Direct" in personalization. in the edit mode of the accounts creation screen.

Hope now the query is clear.
