Not able to Unlock Shadow system in Downtime Phase.

Hi,

Title: Not able to Unlock Shadow system in Downtime Phase.

We are in the downtime phase. We got an error and to solve this, we have to login into the shadow system as Normal user.

We have tried unlocking the system, first by this command:

SAPup unlockshd SID

but we got this error:

Enter the path of your root directory [/usr/sap/CPE/upg/abap]:

Root directory =

  • Reexecuting ./SAPup with adapted environment and restart=0x3.

So, we tried the other method to unlock the shadow system as described in this post:

Downtime Phase

tp unlocksys <SID> pf=SHADOW.TPP

- you have to be in shadow instance profile directory.

It said OK but when we try to login into shadow system, it is saying - Upgrade is running, no logon possible.

How to unlock the shadow system now?

Regards,

Mohan.
